Getting Involved

Member involvement is a key element to Ed Video. Our membership defines what Ed Video is through activities and creative output.

There are many ways to get involved:

  • Take one of our workshops
  • Schedule an orientation on the equipment
  • Volunteer for an afternoon answering phones or updating the information boards and participate in the daily activities of an artist-run centre.
  • View work by other artists in our Video Archive which includes work produced at the centre from the past 30 years.
  • Join a committee : programming, equipment, financial, website
  • Attend our regular screenings to get some inspiration, and talk to other members about your ideas.
  • Come out for Flic Club, a monthly event where we watch movies (free)
  • Open Screen nights are an opportunity for both newer and established members to talk about their projects, show footage, view works-in-progress, share information about grants and funding, and other valuable feedback from other members
  • Sponsor an event or advertise in our programming booklet
