Getting Involved
Member involvement is a key element to Ed Video. Our membership defines what Ed Video is through activities and creative output.
There are many ways to get involved:
- Take one of our workshops
- Schedule an orientation on the equipment
- Volunteer for an afternoon answering phones or updating the information boards and participate in the daily activities of an artist-run centre.
- View work by other artists in our Video Archive which includes work produced at the centre from the past 30 years.
- Join a committee : programming, equipment, financial, website
- Attend our regular screenings to get some inspiration, and talk to other members about your ideas.
- Come out for Flic Club, a monthly event where we watch movies (free)
- Open Screen nights are an opportunity for both newer and established members to talk about their projects, show footage, view works-in-progress, share information about grants and funding, and other valuable feedback from other members
- Sponsor an event or advertise in our programming booklet
