We encourage member involvement in the daily activities of the centre through our Volunteer Credit system. Members who volunteer receive equipment credits worth $10/hr for their time. These credits can be used to pay for 50% of equipment rentals. Members are also able to pay for 50% their membership fee by volunteering within 30 days of becoming a member.

Some examples of jobs where we need volunteers include: mailouts and brochure distribution, postering, assist with programming events, fundraisers, newsletter writing and layout, designing posters, administrative work such as updating databases, and answering phones. Volunteering is an excellent way to connect with other members and get a sense of what is happening in the broader media arts community.
