24 Hour Film and Media Challenge
24 Hour Film and Media Challenge
March 28th, 2009*
*Date subject to change
Artists working in film and video and challenged to create a new work
from scratch in 24 hours, culminating in a premiere screening of the
completed works. Both beginning and established media artists work
in teams, and are provided with visual and audio clues to incorporate
into their productions.
Created in 2005 because of interest from the membership, the 24 Hour
Film and Media Challenge has become a very popular annual event in
Guelph. The challenge attracts new members to the centre each year, and
is an opportunity for beginners to work with a team to produce and screen
their first video. It is expected to continue to grow in participation and
popularity in 2009.
