Membership is easy! We offer three levels of membership that suit the various ways people interact with Ed Video. The process of becoming a member is as simple as completing a form and paying the membership fee.
 
Description

This  workshop will provide participants with the essentials of using a camera for video production. Learn how to set up a camera on a tripod, adjust key settings to achieve a quality image, and transfer footage. For more in-depth instruction, we offer a more advanced session.

Workshop Outline
Demonstration
  • Tripod and camera setup basics
  • The 'exposure triangle': Aperture, Shutter and ISO/Gain
  • Tips for determining exposure
  • White Balance
  • Focus and focusing tools
  • Composing an image
Students will gain experience completing the following tasks, as well as an understanding of when and why to do each:
  • Setting up and mounting a Camera to a Tripod
  • Tripod operation
  • Installing the Battery and Media
  • Attaching a Lens
  • Setting White Balance 
  • Setting Shutter Speed
  • Setting the ISO 
  • Adjusting the Aperture
  • Composing a shot
  • Setting the Exposure by Eye
