Video Feedback Kid’s Disco!

At 25 years old, Jenny Mitchell has accomplished many things - leading the band The Barmitzvah Brothers for seven years and recording and playing solo as Jenny Omnichord for four years makes her one of Guelph’s most successful musicians. Jenny’s father owned the much-loved Family Thrift Store across the parking lot from Ed Video where many treasures where sold cheap and many rock bands, from nearby and afar, found an adoring Guelphite audience.
Jenny will host a free, Saturday afternoon disco for kids at the Ed Video Gallery. Live cameras will be placed around the gallery and fed to many projectors in feedback loops. Children (including Jenny’s one year old son, ‘Mr. Bones’) will be able to dance and see themselves in this feedback loop. The gallery will have several disco balls, intelligent lighting, and fog machines to get the kids groovin' and shakin'!
