This two-session course will provide in-depth insight into the process of video and film editing, using real-life examples. Participants will be shown workflow practices, how to prepare for their edit, theory on how to set pacing and make editing decisions, as well as preparing for the colour correction and sound work that follows the editing process.
FCP X will be used to demonstrate these techniques. It is strongly recommended that participants take one of our Intro to FCP X workshops in advance, or have previous experience with another editing software.
